Two barrels on the left are wound by the rotor while the pair on the right are wound from the crown with power distributed equally - a world first.
Using barrels in parallel enables MB&F to reduce the torque of each mainspring; thus improving isochronism, decreasing wear and increasing longevity, all while maintaining an enormous 7 days power reserve.
