MB&F’s HM4 RT: First-Class flight now available at the M.A.D. Gallery

Now you can step on board at the M.A.D. Gallery and experience the supreme comfort, exclusivity and luxury of taking a first-class flight like no other.

Ok, we’ll be honest, we’re not quite talking plush carpets, 180-degree reclining sleeperettes and complementary vintage champagne. But who needs that when you have sophisticated satin-sheen red gold, exceptional sapphire crystal, luxuriant leather and an engine so intricate just watching it purr away is the definition of indulgence?

We’re talking about MB&F’s new HM4 RT, which sees a majestic combination of red gold and titanium – hence the ‘RT’ – turn the HM4 Thunderbolt into a luxurious, high-tech flying machine which is now set for take-off at the M.A.D. Gallery. Prepare yourself for the ultimate passenger experience.

The HM4 RT has a sleek, aerodynamic case crafted from regal red gold and transparent sapphire crystals to offer a perfect view into the in-house engine – ultra-complex micro-mechanics which are the result of three long years of development. There are over 300 movement components in total, each one developed specifically for the atypical calibre, including the regulator and even the screws.

A horizontally-configured, dual mainspring barrel drives two vertical gear trains, transferring power to twin pods indicating hours/minutes (on the right) and power reserve (on the left). Both boast red gold, Super-LumiNova-filled hands that make for a pretty dashing personalised cockpit instrument panel, if ever there was one.

Behind all the silk and splendour is some severe hard graft from the ground crew: The transparent sapphire section of the case has required over 100 hours of machining and polishing to transform an opaque solid block of crystal into a complex, curved panel allowing light to enter and illuminate the beauty of HM4 RT’s engine.

The exclusivity of flying the HM4 RT is completed not only by the M.A.D. Gallery’s super attentive in-flight service, but also by the articulated titanium lugs and ergonomically-designed, rich brown leather strap which provide such supreme wearer comfort that the HM4 RT’s owner can just sit back, relax and enjoy the luxury flight.

The HM4 RT is a limited edition of 18 pieces in 5N red gold, titanium and sapphire. Boarding starts now at the M.A.D. Gallery.
