Jake Dyson is the real proof of the “like father, like son” adage.
The offspring of James Dyson- the inventor of the eponymous vacuum cleaner, Jake launched his own design studio in 1994. This is where the Motorlight was born, a motorised lamp of which the body gracefully moves up and down at a constant speed, aesthetically varying the dimensions of the projected light beam. According to specialists, it has soothing and relaxing properties, only due to the slow motion of the constant movement from the body of the lamp.
