WHAT'S YOUR ROLE AT MB&F?

WHAT'S YOUR ROLE AT MB&F?
Design and construction of the LM3 movement, and conception and development of the new perpetual calendar mechanism. Prototyping of the movement.

WHEN DID YOU FIRST MEET MAX / ENCOUNTER MB&F

In 2006, right at the start of MB&F, when I worked as part of a small team of independent watchmakers assembling the very first HM1 watches. From this time, I always knew that I would like to work with Max again

WHY BE PART OF THE MB&F ADVENTURE?

Watchmaking is my all-consuming passion, and I choose the projects which I take on in terms of which one will best feed my passion. When I proposed the idea of developing a completely new perpetual calendar mechanism for LM3 (in just over 2 years from idea to fully-functioning prototype!), who else but Max and Serge would have been insane enough to allow me to attempt this ambitious challenge, and to give me their complete support? Because, at MB&F, the ethos is to seek out and embrace technical innovation – not to play safe. Only in this way can truly exceptional watches be created, and therein lies all my interest and motivation. Also, it has been exciting to work with the rest of the MB&F team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
