WHEN DID YOU FIRST MEET MAX?
During our first concept presentation for the new retail architecture. What a painful moment… Max was quite direct, he absolutely hated it. But he suggested that we come back a couple of weeks later to propose something else. We went back to the office feeling terrible and restarted everything from scratch. This time, our design was much more radical. It was a big gamble and we were not exactly sure of how to build it all at the time. A few minutes after the beginning of the second presentation Max started to smile. And here we are today.
WHY BE PART OF THE MB&F ADVENTURE?
We wanted it badly. We had been following MB&F for quite some time, admiring the provocative playfulness and mastery of the brand from a distance. We felt a deep connection to the whole company. It looked like a lot of fun. It took us almost 10 years to get onboard.
